Kiara and her husband, Anthony, joined us in the Texas countryside for her stunning maternity session at sunset. She chose an off the shoulder long maternity dress in blush pink to show off her baby bump of course. Kiara loved the simplicity of it for an outdoor shoot and I agree 🙂 You can find her dress and similar styles at Sew Trendy. To add to the blushing goodness, Jackie Trejo made Kiara a custom flower crown which added such a beautiful extra touch to an already lovely session!

They brought an ultrasound of their sweet girl and a pair of elegant flats that mama picked out for her. How cute! I also brought along my wooden letter board (interested in having one at your session? Just ask me to bring it!) and they put their tentative due date. So darn sweet and such a much needed sentimental touch!:)

What is something that dad has done for mom during the pregnancy?

Dad has definitely catered to mommy. He has cooked and cleaned to help out around the house and also surprised me with some midnight snacks!

What have been your favorite things to do while pregnant? Any cravings?

While pregnant I have loved to read up on other mommas experiences and spend time enjoying my husband. Not to mention lay around the house and feel all those baby kicks that keep me wondering what in the world she is up to in there. My biggest craving has been chocolate covered strawberries!

Is there anything you were self-conscious about going into the session? If so, what?

Has your pregnancy gone pretty smoothly or has it been a tough one?

What’s one piece of advice you would give to other expecting mothers for the session?
