DUCHESNE ACADEMY OF THE SACRED HEART

Camilla is currently a senior at my Alma Mater, Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart! Whoop, Whoop! She is a go-getter with a good heart who is involved in multiple volunteering activities at her school. Every week she volunteers at a local elementary school. She is also involved in MUN, Model United Nations, a world renown organization that fosters diplomacy. Camilla adores to travel and getting to know different people and cultures. This summer she went to Costa Rica with the organization Amigos de las Americas and this semester she is continuing her service work as a volunteer veteran trainer for the Houston chapter!

How amazing is she?!?!

Really. Really. Amazing. 

Camilla’s dream colleges are the University of Texas Austin and Wake Forest.

Her first choice is Wake Forest, a private university in

Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

 

She is interested in studying psychology in college! Fabulous choice, Camilla! I took my first psychology class in my first year of college and fell in love. Every semester after, I took a psychology course and ended up graduating with a minor in psychology! Camilla, you are going to have so much fun!

Camilla chose to do her session at her home which was such a unique idea! She wanted to always remember the house she grew up in before she begins the next chapter of her life! Ahhh, I can’t even write that without crying! How sweet is she?!

The images turned out great! We took some out on her front lawn, her porch with her two puppies, and in their home library where she spent years reading her favorite novels in.

Anyone else think Camilla is basically Belle from Beauty and the Beast?! Yup, I’m with you 🙂

What are your plans for after high school graduation?

C: I definitely plan to get at least an undergraduate degree and maybe more- who knows? But I want to be able to have an opportunity to travel- hopefully, I get to do that through opportunities in college or in the workplace.

Why did you choose to have your senior session in the neighborhood you grew up in?

C: Mainly for sentimental reasons and for all the memories that come with it. I loved the location!

One of the most important things she wanted in her session was her sweet pups! She literally came to me and said she wanted her dogs to be there because she wanted to, “make it extra memorable and get fancy pictures done with them.” And I said…. “Of course!!!!” My thoughts exactly!!!

I always let my clients bring their pets to their session because our furbabies are FAMILY! They are such a huge part of our lives so it only makes sense that they are there for important milestones like senior photos! 🙂
