Yippee! With May being around the corner, our senior sessions have come to an end which means…we can start blogging!!! This post is dedicated to our graduate-to-be, Kristen from Glenda Dawson! We were SO close to having to reschedule this session because of the crazy Houston weather that left us sunny one day, cloudy the next, then, two days later decided to storm. Like, what?! Where’s my Spring sunshine at?! But! Everything worked out like pure magic 🙂 Sure, we love a good sunlight session but we made it work!

Kristen’s super sweet momma bear was with us for her session and even went out of her way to make all of Kristen’s flower bouquets. How amazing is she?! She made two sets of bouquets, one for her first outfit and one for her last outfit at the garden.

Kristen’s makeup was done by the wonderful girls at Etoilly Artistry who are our preferred vendors. We love them times a million because they NEVER run late! Seriously! Plus, they make the whole experience enjoyable and are wizards with their curling wands! They know how to apply makeup in an effortless fashion that never looks cakey and instead, accentuates your natural features and making you feel like a 10.

We spent two hours wandering around League City, TX and surrounding areas. Overall, it was a successful evening filled with confetti, Aggie love, and so much more. Scroll through and see her beautiful senior session & her responses to a recent interview we had with her. We love ya Kristen!

• What kind of look were you going for in the shoot?
  Something really natural and light!
• How was your overall senior photo session experience?
  It was phenomenal. I really couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. I had never done anything like this before so I was a little nervous about how everything would go, but it ended up being great!
• What’s one piece of advice you have for other seniors getting their picture taken?
  Make sure that your location and overall look represents who you are.
• What was your biggest fear or worry about the photo shoot? What was the outcome?
  My biggest worry was not liking the photos. Not being able to see the photos right away worried me! The photos turned out amazing so I definitely shouldn’t have worried.
• How did you choose to accessorize your outfits?
  I just went with things I would typically wear! I really like earrings and necklaces so I stuck with those accessories.
• Did you bring any props? If so, what were they and why did you decide to bring it?
  I brought a Class of 2019 banner, a couple of bouquets of flowers, and some A&M themed props. Honestly, I just went with some really classic/traditional ideas.
• How would you advise someone else to prepare for a senior photo session?
  Don’t stress too much! Make a list of everything you want or need for photos so that you don’t miss anything.
• What are you planning on studying at Texas A&M?Economics
